Caught in the Villain's Web is an old-time melodrama complete with a beautiful heroine with amnesia, a stout-hearted hero and a despicable villain. Felicity Fair, our downtrodden heroine, is a nurse sent to the Larkfield Mansion to attend a hardhearted society matron who hopes to force her son into marrying the scheming Nella Hargrave. Naturally he falls in love with our heroine instead. The villain, Cyril Bothingwell, attempts to foil the love affair, but in the end his nefarious schemes are thwarted to the delight of all!
